FORD Transit Connect ECU remapping
556 files available
About remapping
The Ford Transit Connect accounts for 556 files in our catalogue, led by the 1.8 TDCi of earlier vans, with the 1.5 TDCi and 1.6 TDCi of later ones alongside it. It is a compact van used heavily in urban delivery and trades work.
Stage 1 makes up 502 files, with 180 EGR off and 55 DPF off. The high EGR figure reflects short-trip urban use, which clogs the system sooner. The ECUs are predominantly Siemens SID807, SID202 and SID206, plus Bosch EDC17C70 and MD1CS005 on later units.

Is a remap worthwhile on a compact van?
Yes, mainly for low-end torque: it makes pulling away loaded easier and avoids working the engine hard at every junction.
Why are there so many EGR files?
Short urban trips at low load clog the EGR sooner. Disabling it is not permitted on vehicles used on public roads, however.
Do you cover the newer 1.5 TDCi?
Yes, it is present in our catalogue alongside the long-serving 1.8 TDCi of earlier vans.
