FORD Ranger ECU remapping
871 files available
About remapping
The Ford Ranger accounts for 871 files in our catalogue, led by the 3.2 TDCi five-cylinder diesel, with the 2.2 TDCi below it. It is a working pick-up built for towing and payload, and the requested work reflects that pattern of use.
Stage 1 makes up 748 files, with 188 EGR off, 86 DPF off and 64 AdBlue-related files. The ECUs are predominantly Siemens SID208, SID209 and SID309, alongside Bosch EDC16C7, EDC16C31 and the Ford DCU17PC43.

What is the 3.2 TDCi?
It is the five-cylinder diesel of the higher-output Rangers, with a distinctive delivery and substantial torque. It is the most worked engine on this model.
Will I notice a difference when towing?
That is where it shows most: the extra mid-range torque reduces the need to change down on gradients with a load or trailer, which is the pick-up's natural use.
Why are there so many EGR files?
Working vehicles cover many miles at low revs under load, conditions in which the EGR clogs sooner. Disabling it is not permitted on public roads, however.
