About remapping
The Ford S-Max accounts for 612 files in our catalogue, overwhelmingly the 2.0 TDCi diesel, with the 2.2 TDCi above it and the 1.6 and 1.8 TDCi below. It is a large MPV with a more driver-focused character than most of its rivals.
Stage 1 makes up 519 files — one of the purest performance profiles in our catalogue — followed by 111 EGR off and 63 DPF off. The ECUs are Ford DCM3.5 and DCM6.1, Siemens SID206 and SID807, plus Bosch EDC17CP42 and EDC16CP39.
Model highlights

What does an S-Max gain from Stage 1?
Mainly mid-range torque, which is most noticeable with a full car or on gradients — exactly where a large MPV feels strained.
What is the 2.2 TDCi?
It is the higher-output diesel of the range, above the 2.0. It is covered in our catalogue with its own files.
Is the work reversible?
Yes. We always keep the original ECU file, so the car can be returned to its factory configuration.
