About remapping
The Volvo 850 accounts for 25 files in our catalogue, dominated by the 2.3T turbocharged petrol including the T5 version, with the 2.0T and the 2.5 TDI diesel also present. It is the saloon and estate that redefined the marque's image in the 1990s.
Stage 1 makes up 24 files — a very clean profile — with 6 Stage 2. The ECUs include EDC15 on the diesel, plus M4.3 and MSA15.7 references on the petrol units.

What is the T5 version?
It is the higher-output turbocharged petrol of this generation, the one that gave the 850 its sporting reputation. It is present in our catalogue.
Is a remap worthwhile on a car of this age?
It depends entirely on engine condition. On a well-maintained turbocharged example it responds well, but remapping does not compensate for wear.
Is the work reversible?
Yes. We always keep the original ECU file, so the car can be returned to its factory configuration.
