MINI 5-door ECU remapping

95 files available

About remapping

This entry covers the five-door MINI hatchback, with 95 files in our catalogue. The 2.0T petrol turbo leads, alongside the 1.5T and 1.2T of the smaller versions. It is the more practical body style of the modern range.

Stage 1 makes up 61 files, with 23 Stage 2 and 9 speed limiter removals. The ECUs are MG1CS201 and MEVD17.2.3 — a small, consistent set that simplifies identification considerably.

Frequently asked questions

Which engine gains most?

The 2.0T petrol turbo delivers the largest outright gains, while the smaller 1.5T also responds well for its displacement.

What is the difference from the three-door?

Mainly practicality: the five-door offers easier rear access. Mechanically they are the same, and our coverage applies to both.

What is Stage 2 and do I need it?

Stage 2 assumes mechanical modifications such as intake or exhaust. If your car is standard, Stage 1 is what applies.
