FIAT Palio ECU remapping
6 files available
About remapping
The Fiat Palio accounts for 6 files in our catalogue, dominated by the 1.0i naturally aspirated petrol with the 1.3 and 1.9 JTD diesels also present. It is a compact sold primarily in South American and emerging markets.
Stage 1 makes up 5 files — a completely clean profile with no maintenance work at all. The ECUs are Magneti Marelli references — IAW4AF, IAW4GF, IAW7GF and MM6JF — plus EDC15 on the diesels.

Which engine gains most?
The JTD diesels, since they are turbocharged. The naturally aspirated 1.0i gains considerably less.
Is a remap worthwhile on such a small engine?
On the diesels yes, noticeably. On the naturally aspirated petrol the gain is modest, and we are honest about that.
Is the work reversible?
Yes. We always keep the original ECU file, so the car can be returned to its factory configuration.
