Is a remap worthwhile on a motorhome base?
Very much so. Motorhomes carry substantial permanent weight, and the extra mid-range torque makes a real difference on gradients.
How does this differ from the Ducato IV entry?
This covers the Type 244 generation specifically, an earlier one with a very different service profile. Each generation has its own entry.
Is a remap worthwhile on a van of this age?
It depends on engine condition. On a well-maintained 2.3 JTD it responds well, but remapping does not compensate for wear.
