About remapping
This entry covers the Škoda Octavia Combi estate, with 63 files in our catalogue. The 2.0 TDI leads across its output levels, with the 1.6 TDI DPF and the 4x4 versions also present. It is the load-carrying body style of the range.
The split is unusual: 42 Stage 1 files and 42 speed limiter removals, plus 24 EGR off. The ECUs include EDC17C74, EDC17C64 and EDC17C46 on the diesels, plus Delphi DCM6.2V and EDC16U1 on some units.

Is a remap worthwhile on an estate?
Yes, particularly if used loaded. The extra mid-range torque is most noticeable with a full car or on gradients.
Why so many speed limiter removals?
Many of these cars carry a factory electronic limit that owners choose to remove. Note that legal speed limits are unchanged.
Does it affect the 4x4 system?
No. The work is done on the engine ECU and does not alter the operation of the all-wheel-drive system.
