Is a remap worthwhile on a Multivan?
Yes, especially if the vehicle is regularly full or used for touring. The extra mid-range torque is most noticeable with a full load or on gradients.
Does it affect the 4Motion system?
No. The work is done on the engine ECU and does not alter the operation of the all-wheel-drive system.
What is the DQ500?
It is the dual-clutch transmission ECU. Work on it adjusts shift points and torque limits, and often complements an engine map.
