About remapping
The Volkswagen Caddy accounts for 1,733 files in our catalogue, with the 2.0 TDI and 1.6 TDI as the core engines, alongside the older 1.9 TDI PD. It is a compact van used heavily in urban delivery work, and also popular as a small camper base.
Stage 1 makes up 1,412 files, with 519 EGR off and 200 DPF off — a high maintenance proportion reflecting short-trip urban use. The ECU range covers PCR2.1, EDC17C64, EDC17C46 and the older EDC16 and EDC16U34. All work starts from the original read of the unit.

Is a remap worthwhile on a compact van?
Yes, mainly for low-end torque: it makes pulling away loaded easier and avoids working the engine hard at every junction.
Why are there so many EGR files?
Because of the usage pattern: short urban trips at low load clog the EGR sooner. Disabling it is not permitted on vehicles used on public roads, however.
Do you cover the older 1.9 TDI PD?
Yes, the pump-duse 1.9 is present in our catalogue alongside the common-rail units.
