About remapping
The Jeep Cherokee accounts for 73 files in our catalogue, with a broad spread of diesel engines: from the six-cylinder 3.0 CRDi through to the 2.8 CRD, 2.5 TD, 2.2 CRDI and 2.0 CRDi of more recent generations. It is an off-roader with a long history and that variety shows.
Stage 1 accounts for 57 of the 73 files: a profile clearly oriented towards performance. The ECUs span a very wide generational range, from the EDC15 and EDC16C31 of older units through to the EDC17C49, EDC17C69 and EDC17C79 of modern ones. We always start from the original file of the unit.

Do you cover the older Cherokee generations?
Yes. The catalogue includes EDC15 and EDC16 ECUs, typical of the oldest units, as well as the EDC17s of recent generations.
Which engine responds best?
The six-cylinder 3.0 CRDi offers the widest margin, but the 2.8 CRD and 2.2 CRDI also respond well to a torque-oriented map.
Can the work be reverted?
Yes. We always keep the original file before modifying anything, so the ECU can be returned to its standard configuration.
