JEEP Commander ECU remapping
46 files available

About remapping
The Jeep Commander accounts for 46 files in our catalogue, with the 3.0 CRD six-cylinder as effectively its only engine: adding up its designations it accounts for practically all the work. It is a large seven-seat off-roader, with plenty of mass to move and a clear need for torque.
Stage 1 accounts for 34 files and EGR off 16, a high proportion reflecting the known points of this engine. The ECUs are the Bosch EDC16CP31 and EDC16CP3, plus the GPEC4 proprietary to the group. All work starts from the original file of the unit and is reversible.

How does the Commander's 3.0 CRD respond?
It is a rewarding combination: being a large, heavy vehicle, the extra mid-range torque greatly reduces the need to change down on gradients or when towing.
Why so many EGR files?
It is a known point on this engine, which accumulates carbon with use. Remember that disabling the system is not permitted on vehicles used on public roads.
Do you cover the petrol versions?
The Commander catalogue is almost entirely diesel. There is the occasional petrol file, but the bulk corresponds to the 3.0 CRD.
