Jaguar X-Type ECU remapping
40 files available

About remapping
The Jaguar X-Type accounts for 40 files in our catalogue, with the 2.2D as the most worked engine, followed by the 2.0 D in its various designations. It is the marque's compact saloon of the 2000s, with a technical base shared with Ford and electronics typical of its era.
Stage 1 accounts for 35 of the 40 files, a clearly performance-oriented profile. The ECUs are those characteristic of the platform: Delphi with the MPC555 processor and the DCM3.1. These are units with some years on them, so it is worth checking the condition of the engine before planning any map.

Is it worthwhile on a car of this age?
It depends on the condition of the engine. If well maintained, the 2.2D responds well to a measured map. What remapping does not do is compensate for a tired engine or deferred servicing.
Do you work with Delphi MPC555 ECUs?
Yes, it is the usual reference on the X-Type and we have it covered, alongside the DCM3.1.
Can it be reverted?
Yes. We always save the original file before modifying anything, so the ECU can be returned to its factory configuration.
