SAAB 9-3 ECU remapping
282 files available

About remapping
The Saab 9-3 is a particular case within our catalogue: with 282 files, the dominant engine is not a diesel but the 2.0T petrol, which accounts for 96 files on its own. It is a turbocharged unit with a well-earned reputation among enthusiasts for the margin it offers and for how well it responds to work on the engine management.
Stage 1 accounts for 172 files, and the model is one of the few where Stage 3 also appears (3 files), a sign of the headroom these engines allow when hardware supports it. The brand's own Trionic T7 and T8 ECUs are the most common, alongside the Bosch EDC16C39 and EDC16C9 on the TiD and TTiD diesel versions.

Why does the Saab 2.0T allow so much?
It is a turbocharged petrol engine with a wide margin between the factory calibration and the limit of the hardware, and with Trionic management that allows precise work. That is why it accumulates the most files on this model.
What is the difference between Stage 1, 2 and 3 on this car?
Stage 1 works on software alone, with a standard engine. Stage 2 and Stage 3 assume mechanical modifications (intake, exhaust, intercooler or turbo). If you have no modified hardware, Stage 1 is what applies to you.
Do you work on the older Trionic units?
Yes, both Trionic T7 and T8 appear in our 9-3 catalogue. Send us the exact reference of your unit and we will confirm availability.
