Renault Premium ECU remapping
25 files available
About remapping
The Renault Premium accounts for 25 files in our catalogue, dominated by the 420 dCi rating, with the 450 DXi and 450 dCi also present across the 10.8 and 11 litre blocks. It is a haulage tractor unit and rigid widely used on national routes.
Stage 1 makes up 18 files, with 7 AdBlue-related, 4 Stage 2 and 3 DPF off. The ECUs are MS6.3, EMS2 and EMS2.2. On heavy vehicles we always work to conservative criteria, because the engine spends its life under load.

What do you aim for on a haulage tractor unit?
Sustained pulling capacity and contained fuel consumption per hundred kilometres, which is what shows up on the fleet's cost sheet.
Does it affect fuel consumption?
Worked properly, it tends to reduce consumption per hundred kilometres on the same route, because the engine works less hard for the same job.
Does it affect the vehicle's warranty?
It may affect the manufacturer's cover. We keep the original file so the work can be reversed if needed.
