About remapping
The MAN TGS accounts for 77 files in our catalogue, with the 10.5 and 12.4 litre blocks as its base and 440 and 480 hp variants. It is the marque's construction and distribution truck, with far more demanding use in starts and load than the road tractor unit.
The service split is the most balanced in the MAN range: 51 Stage 1 files, 39 AdBlue-related, 21 EGR off and 19 DPF off. It reflects a vehicle that works hard and where the emissions systems suffer. The ECUs run from the EDC7 and EDC7C32 to the EDC17CV42 and MD1CE100.

How does the TGS differ from the TGX?
The TGS is aimed at construction and distribution, with more starts and work under load; the TGX is the long-haul tractor unit. That changes the kind of map that suits each.
Why is there so much AdBlue and EGR work on this model?
Because of its use: a lot of work at low revs and under load, conditions under which these systems saturate sooner. Bear in mind that tampering with them is restricted on vehicles used on public roads.
Do you cover both ECU generations?
Yes, both the older EDC7 and EDC7C32 and the modern EDC17CV42 and MD1CE100 are present in the TGS catalogue.
