Which X7 engine gains most?
The 50D twin-turbo diesel delivers the largest gain in absolute torque, though the 40i petrol also responds strongly.
Is a remap noticeable on a vehicle this size?
Very much so, precisely because of the weight. The extra mid-range torque is most noticeable with a full car or towing.
Does it affect the xDrive system?
No. The work is done on the engine ECU and does not alter the operation of the all-wheel-drive system.
