BMW Serie 5 ECU remapping
8,128 files available

About remapping
The BMW 5 Series accounts for 8,128 files in our catalogue, led by the six-cylinder diesels: the 530d and 535d alongside the four-cylinder 520d and 525d. It is a large executive saloon where the extra mid-range torque of a well-executed remap translates directly into more relaxed progress at motorway speeds.
Stage 1 makes up 6,631 of those files, followed by 1,304 EGR off and 1,081 Stage 2. The 5 Series covers a wide generational span, so the ECUs range from the EDC16C31 and EDC16C35 of earlier cars to the EDC17CP45, EDC17C41 and EDC17C50 of later ones. Every job starts from the original read of the unit.

Which 5 Series engine responds best?
The straight-six diesels — 530d and 535d — offer the most headroom, but the 520d and 525d also gain considerable flexibility from a well-judged map.
Do you cover older generations?
Yes. Our catalogue spans ECUs from the EDC16C31 and EDC16C35 of earlier cars right through to the modern EDC17 family.
Will it affect my warranty?
A remap is detectable by the manufacturer and can affect warranty cover on engine-related components. We keep the original file so it can be reversed, but it is worth considering if the car is new.
