BMW Serie 3 ECU remapping
11,941 files available

About remapping
The BMW 3 Series is by far the most remapped model in our catalogue: 11,941 files covering everything from the ubiquitous 320d and 318d to the petrol 320i, 330d and 335i, across several generations (E90/E91, F30/F31 and later). Its sporting character and turbocharged engines, both diesel and petrol, respond particularly well to ECU remapping.
On a diesel 3 Series, a Stage 1 map typically delivers noticeably fuller mid-range pull and a more immediate throttle response, while preserving the reliability of the engine. On the turbocharged petrol versions such as the 320i, 328i and 335i, the margin for improvement is even more evident. We work on the most common ECUs for this model — EDC16C31, EDC17C41, EDC17C56 and EDC17CP02 — always starting from the original file and fully reversibly.

How much difference does Stage 1 make on a 320d?
The most obvious change is mid-range torque: the car pulls harder without needing to drop a gear and feels more flexible when overtaking. The exact figures depend on the variant and the condition of the engine, so we confirm them against the specific file.
Which ECUs do you cover for the 3 Series?
The most frequent in our catalogue are the Bosch EDC16C31, EDC16C35, EDC17C41, EDC17C56, EDC17C50 and EDC17CP02. If your unit carries a different reference, ask us first and we will check availability.
Is the remap reversible?
Yes. We always save the original file before modifying anything, so the ECU can be returned to its factory state whenever you want.
