What is the 3.0 BiTDI?
It is the twin-turbo version of the 3.0 diesel, with substantially more power and torque from the factory. It is well covered in our catalogue.
Which engine offers more headroom?
Both are forced-induction and respond well. The 3.0 TFSI gains more in outright figures; the BiTDI excels at mid-range torque.
Does it affect the quattro system?
No. The work is done on the engine ECU and does not alter the operation of the all-wheel-drive system.
