Porsche Boxter S ECU remapping
20 files available
About remapping
This entry groups Porsche Boxster S units in our catalogue, with 20 files. The 3.2i naturally aspirated flat-six dominates, with the 3.4i and the later 2.5 DFI Turbo also present. It is the mid-engined roadster of the range.
Stage 1 makes up 13 files, with 7 Stage 2 — a high proportion reflecting how many of these cars arrive with hardware already modified. The ECUs include ME7.8, ME7.2, ME7.4.4 and the SDI3, SDI9 and SDI21 references.

How much does the 3.2i naturally aspirated gain?
Considerably less than a turbocharged engine — there is no boost to adjust. We are honest about this: expect refinement in delivery, not a large power figure.
How does the 2.5 DFI Turbo compare?
Being turbocharged it has genuine headroom and responds far more strongly to a Stage 1 map than the naturally aspirated units.
What is Stage 2 for?
It is for cars that already carry hardware modifications, typically exhaust or intake. Without them, Stage 1 is the right level.
