DAF XF ECU remapping
88 files available
About remapping
This DAF XF entry covers 88 files focused almost entirely on the 12.9-litre diesel block, which alone accounts for 72 of them. References to the 10.5, 12-litre and the 460 hp Euro 5 configurations also appear.
Stage 1 dominates with 86 of the 88 files, the purest profile in our commercial vehicle catalogue. On this kind of vehicle the aim is usable torque at low revs that allows speed to be held on gradients under load and reduces gear changes. The usual ECUs are ETC3, MS62, DDCR and DMCI.
Model highlights
- ›86 Stage 1 files out of 88: the XF catalogue is almost exclusively performance work.
- ›The 12.9-litre block accounts for 72 files, the model's central engine.
- ›Coverage also of the 10.5 and 12-litre blocks and the Euro 5 configuration.
- ›DAF ETC3, MS62, DDCR and DMCI ECUs.

What does an XF gain from a remap?
Above all torque at low revs. Over long distances under load, that translates into fewer gear changes on gradients and, in many fleets, a more contained average fuel consumption.
Is it safe for the engine?
On commercial vehicles we work to more conservative criteria than on cars, precisely because the propulsion unit accumulates far more hours. A well-judged map respects thermal and pressure margins.
Do you cover the 12.9-litre block?
It is the best covered by a distance: 72 of the 88 files in this entry correspond to that engine.
