About remapping
The DAF CF85 accounts for 110 files in our catalogue, with the 340 hp variant by far the most worked, followed by the 410 and the 12.9 litre engine blocks. It is a distribution and construction truck, with very different usage from a long-haul tractor unit.
Stage 1 accounts for 90 of the 110 files: proportionally, one of the purest profiles in our commercial vehicle catalogue. In distribution work what is sought above all is low-end torque to pull away loaded and hold pace on gradients. The usual ECUs are the MS62, the DMCI and the ETC3, specific to the marque.

What does remapping deliver on a CF85 in distribution work?
Torque available at low revs, which is what you need pulling away loaded and on gradients. In this kind of use, with many stops, it shows more than a high peak power figure.
Do you work with DAF's own ECUs?
Yes. The MS62, DMCI, DCMI and ETC3 are the units appearing in our CF85 catalogue and we work on them routinely.
Does it affect engine life?
