Is a remap worthwhile on a motorhome base?
Very much so. Motorhomes carry substantial permanent weight, and the extra mid-range torque makes a real difference on gradients and when fully loaded.
Is it the same as the Ducato and Boxer?
They share platform and mechanicals, sold under several brands. Our experience with one applies largely to the others, but each has its own entry.
Why so many DPF and AdBlue files?
Because of how these vans are used: heavy loads at low revs clog these systems sooner. Tampering with them is not permitted on public roads, however.
