Which engine gains most?
The 1.4 Boosterjet turbocharged, by a clear margin. The naturally aspirated 1.6 VVT gains considerably less, since there is no boost to adjust.
Is a remap worthwhile on such a light car?
Yes: with very little mass to move, even a modest torque gain changes how the car feels in everyday driving.
Is pop and bang legal?
It is not permitted for road use in Spain: it alters the exhaust's approved behaviour. It exists for track and closed-circuit applications.
