Is it the same as the Ford Ranger?
They share platform and engines, sold under both brands. Our experience with one applies largely to the other.
Will I notice a difference when towing?
That is where it shows most: the extra mid-range torque reduces the need to change down on gradients with a load or trailer.
Why so many EGR files?
Working vehicles cover many miles at low revs under load, conditions in which the EGR clogs sooner. Disabling it is not permitted on public roads, however.
