Mercruiser QSD ECU remapping
19 files available
About remapping
The MerCruiser QSD is a marine diesel engine range and accounts for 19 files in our catalogue, split between the 2.0 D and 2.8 TD and the larger 4.2 D and TD blocks. These are inboard engines for recreational and light commercial craft.
Stage 1 accounts for all 19 files — a completely clean profile with no maintenance work at all. The ECU is a single reference across the whole catalogue: EDC16C39. On marine engines we always work to conservative criteria, because they run under sustained load.

What do you aim for on a marine engine?
Sustained delivery under constant load, which is how a boat engine actually works. We are especially conservative here.
Is it different from remapping a car?
The principle is the same but the working profile is not: a marine engine runs at near-constant load for long periods, so the criteria are stricter.
Does it affect the engine's warranty?
It may affect the manufacturer's cover. We keep the original file so the work can be reversed if needed.
